To change a food item -

From the Main Menu - 

Select Food, Change food item. All food types will be shown, scroll to and highlight the food type that you want to change the food item for. Select Continue. The food type that you selected will be shown, along with all the food items for that type. Scroll to and highlight the food item that you want to change. The Current Description and Current Carbs will be shown along with an area to change both items. Select Cancel to return to the Main Menu or after making any changes then select Update item to update the information. A screen will be shown with the food type and all the food items for that type with the update made. To update another item in this type group, select Back or Cancel to return to the Main Menu.
