To add a food type -

From the Main Menu - 

Select Food, Add food type, the current food types are shown, select Add a food type, a form opens so you can enter a food type description, when finished entering the food type description, select Add type. The food type is added then a new form is shown with all the food types shown. Highlight the food type that you just entered and select Add a food item. The current food items for this type are shown. Select Add a food item. A form opens with the food type at the top of the screen, enter a food item description plus the number of carbs for this item. When finished entering the description and carbs, select Add item. The item is added and a screen with the current food items for this food type is shown. You can either select Add a food item to add another item to this type, add a food type to add another food type, or cancel to return to the Main Menu.
